Daniel Liszt's recent CD "Distance" was released on engemics records. The album features ten new original songs and was produced by studio ace Tom Dube (Aimee Mann/ Reeves Gabrels).

The CD, which includes rockers like "Criminals" and reflective, melancholy ballads like "The Sleepers" and "Desperate Visions" promises to introduce Liszt to a wide range of listeners. The songs display a rich tapestry of his lyrical emotion, vocal stylings and songwriting at their best.

"I really feel like "Distance" is the disc that brings together the stories, moods and impressions in my songs with the vibrant musical feeling of a new sound breaking the waves. " says Liszt.

"I am very excited about this album, it definitely captures the inspiration and vision I’m searching for in my music."

Liszt was backed up on "Distance" by a stellar group of musicians, including Kevin Barry (guitar), Mike Rivard (bass) and Dave Mattacks (drums) and Peter Adams (keyboards). Recording for the album took place at Playtime Studios in Boston, MA and Jonathan Wyner mastered the disc at M-Works in Cambridge, MA.
